Samuel Amegah
Director (Operations)

Samuel Amegah Jnr is a Principal Museums and Monuments Education Officer at the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board, with over a decade of experience in heritage interpretation and museum education. His core responsibilities include conducting research on museum objects and heritage-related themes, as well as supporting curators in the planning, development, and installation of exhibitions. He provides expert interpretation and guided tours at the National Museum of Ghana—featuring galleries on ethnography, Ghanaian art, and archaeology—as well as at the Osu Castle (Christiansborg) and the Ussher Fort Slavery Museum. Samuel also oversees educational outreach programs and projects in schools and local communities, evaluates the performance of subordinates, and trains new employees, volunteers, and interns in museum and gallery practices. An alum of University College London, Samuel holds a Master’s Degree in Museum and Gallery Practice. He is also a fellow of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. A determined and analytical museum educator, Samuel is passionate about addressing complex challenges within the museum and tourism sectors. He combines a deep working knowledge of museum operations with strong team leadership skills and a commitment to upholding professional standards in heritage and museum practice.

Solomon Osei
Director ( Public Relations)
